Summer Day Camp
Cub Scout Pack 145 is for boys in 1st through 5th grade interested in fun, citizenship training, character development, physical and mental fitness!

Every Cub Scout is a member of a Cub Scout pack. A pack is a large group of boys. The pack is divided into smaller groups called dens. Each den has around six to twelve boys of the same age.

You will have lots to do as a Cub Scout, everything from crafts and games to sports and songs. See our Activities slide show for more. The den usually meets every week and the pack meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month. At both meetings, Cub Scouts do different things to learn and have fun. Cub Scouts also go to events like day camps, bowling, skiing, fishing and pinewood derbies. They go on field trips. They go camping and have other kinds of outdoor adventures. They take part in community events. Cub Scouts do all sorts of exciting stuff!

Cub Scouts Earn Awards:
While you're having fun, you'll also be earning badges and awards. You'll work on projects with your parents or other adults. When you have earned a badge, you and an adult member of your family take part in a ceremony. The badge is given to the adult and he or she then gives it to you in front of the whole pack. This is a way of saying "thank you" to your family for their help in earning your award.
The most popular awards for Cub Scouts are the advancement awards. Cubs do requirements to advance and earn their badges of rank: Tiger Cub, Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, Webelos and the Arrow of Light Award. The Arrow of Light is the highest award in Cub Scouting. Webelos Scouts also earn activity badges.
Tiger Cubs: 1st Grade, Age 6
Tiger cubs are our youngest Den, meeting once a month, participating in a "go-see-it" once a month, and a monthly Pack meeting. Tiger cubs require an adult partner at all meetings, and it's a great way to build a lasting bond with your boy.  We earn our Bobcat rank by learning the fundamentals of Cub Scouting, and receive lots of encouragement by earning beads for family activites, den and pack activities.

Wolfs: 2nd Grade, Age 7
Wolf Cubs have weekly or semi-weekly meetings to work on their progress towards Wolf rank, earn belt loops, and participate in activities from crafts to sports to citizenship.

Bears: 3rd Grade, Age 8
The Bear rank is for boys who have completed second grade (or are age 9). There are 24 Bear achievements in four categories. The Cub Scout must complete 12 of these to earn the Bear badge. These requirements are somewhat more difficult and challenging than those for Wolf rank.

Webelos I: 4th Grade, Age 9
Webelos stands for We'll Be Loyal Scouts. Our Webelos embark on a 2-year journey. In the first year, we earn our Webelos rank.

Webelos II: 5th Grade, Age 10
The second year of Webelos sees us working toward the Arrow of Light: the highest award in Cub Scouts, and the only Cub rank award allowed on the Boy Scout uniform. In March, our Webelos "bridge over" to Boy Scouts, in time to participate in Boy Scout summer camp.

See our Calendar of Activities for Den Meeting times and locations.

We'd love to hear from you!
